God is neither a socialist or a capitalist. He supports private ownership but not “economic man”. Economic man is a concept that a free market economy is based on each person operating solely in their self interest. Socialism/communism emphasizes what is best for the whole but often at the expense of the individual. An economic system in which self interest and the interest of others is equal does not exist.
