The modern education system has failed. It seems to be more about indoctrination than learning basic skills or how to think, and it is absolutely devoted to removing any mention or concept of God. The interim solution seems to be a combination home schooling/cooperative system that teaches basic skills (reading, writing, and arithmetic) and later a trade for most, as well as a with spiritual education which is just as important. A pilot program has been in operation for several years and is still under development.
